Weekly News from the RBYC
Things are slowly getting back to normal after the wildly successful Commodore's Ball, and "Normal Service" will soon be resumed. Unfortunately the new decking outside the River Room as currently being treated with sealant and will not be available this evening, but it is looking good and should be in full swing again at the weekend. Hopefully the weather this evening will not require us to show off the new Courtyard awning!
Salmon, Leek and Spinach Pasta Bake, topped with melted cheese and served with Salad and Garlic Bread.
On Sunday we are hosting the HMS St Mathew Cup event on the water, followed by lunch, and we also have the two consultation meetings concerning the Quayside project. Lunch will be the popular buffet, and it would help considerably if you could let the office know if you will be attending and want to take lunch.
Finally, a plea for assistance for the Bank Holiday weekend of Burnham Week. The organisers are seeking two qualified RIB drivers , plus companions if they wish, to form part of the support fleet for the large dinghy contingent that races over the first weekend. RIBs will be provided - all the drivers will need is a PB2 qualification. If you are able to help, please contact the Rear Commodore Sailing at email@example.com
